System2

Directory / About

Fast models, kept in a slow book.

TypeSafe calls its models System One, after the fast, intuitive kind of thinking: send some state and a few typed questions, get back answers and probabilities in a fraction of a second. Jev is the first of them.

System Two is the other kind of thinking, the slow and deliberate kind. That is this site: a catalogue, kept by hand, of what people are building with the fast kind.

What gets listed

Anything built on a System One model: apps, libraries, recipes, experiments. It needs one link, to a public GitHub repository, a website or a live demo. Send yours in. Projects with a public repository go up straight away; the rest are read by a person first. The catalogue opens with TypeSafe’s own cookbooks, marked as official and linked to their documentation, so there is a canon to measure against.

Unofficial, on purpose

System2 is an independent community site. It is not run by, endorsed by or affiliated with TypeSafe. The names “TypeSafe” and “Jev” appear here only to describe what these projects are built on. Official entries link out to TypeSafe’s documentation and copy none of it.

For machines

The whole catalogue is available as JSON, as anRSS feed and as llms.txt, so an agent can look up a recipe as easily as a person can.

Corrections and removals

If an entry is wrong, or it is yours and you want it gone, open an issue on the site’s repository and it will be fixed.
